How many hours a day should you study for Step1? How many months do you recommend?

I recommend around 10 hours of studying per day during the dedicated study period, and I suggest taking it easy 1 day a week ("rest day").
Months depends on a lot of personal factors, I usually say no more than 3 months dedicated unless you've graduated a few years ago, 4-8 weeks is an appropriate range for a dedicated study period for most U.S. med students. Of course, these are just general estimates, our study schedules are highly customized to each tutoring student.
