People say that UWorld is the closest to the real exam. I'm curious what exactly they mean by this - is it like walking out of the exam, you say to yourself "that was exactly like that one UWorld question!" or is it just the style of the questions / the concepts tested by UWorld?

Thanks - I forgot to add the reason why I ask this: You say to try to make 1 flashcard per question that we miss, the fact that is necessary to answer the question. That fact sticks in our mind if we review it, but what about the other related facts about that disease that might be asked on actual questions for step? That is the constant struggle with making flashcards. I always want to include more flashcards for all the relevant facts from first aid, but that would take forever and I would end up making way too many cards.
The UWorld software most closely emulates the software used on test day, so your computer screen on test day will look very much like your screen when you take a UWorld block. However, in my experience, the NBME CBSSAs are more high-yield in terms of content likely to be tested and structure of the questions.
